Stable!

Stable!!! The MRI showed no change- which is great news.  It was long day but we made it home in one piece and are ready to start enjoying the holiday season!!  Thanks to everyone for your love and support.  We've made it through yet another MRI and can breathe a little easier for the next three months.

1st Annual Team Jackson Toy Drive:

Last year during the holidays we were still in treatment.  In fact, I remember receiving radiation on christmas eve and then jumping in the car and driving to Sacramento to spend the night at home and then returning to SF on christmas so that Jack could receive radiation on Dec 26th.  We know first hand how hard it is to be away from family for the holidays, especially for those families who are inpatient. This year we want to help make the holidays a little better for the kids and parents spending it in the hospital so we are starting the 1st annual Team Jackson Toy Drive-  We will be bringing toys and gifts to the oncology kids and their families at UCSF Children's Hospital on Dec. 19th.  We will be collecting new unwrapped toys for girls and boys from infants to teenagers.  Also 5 and 10 dollar Starbuck's cards for the parents. If you are interested in donating, please bring your gifts to kelly at work or email me at and I will figure out how to get it.   Thanks so much!!!

Way to go on the stable MRI!!!  Daisy Troop 2003 (our Girl Scout troop) has 24 stockings and gift bags ready for you guys to deliver to UCSF!  Our troop recycled cans and bottles and took their “earnings” and bought all sorts of unwrapped goodies to give.  They also decorated the gift bags that these items are placed in.  Way to go Jack on being such a big fighter!  This Christmas is sure to be very special with you guys! See you soon and lots of love!

Hi Keri,
Stable has become our favourite word these days. So glad Jack is doing great! I had wanted to write but it’s not so convenient to get online back home.

Hope you are enjoying your first holiday season since Jack went off treatment. Looks like our kids are also both back in school. We are giving our girl her own time to catch up with her class.

Best wishes for Jack’s first Toy Drive! And have a Wonderful Christmas!

Hugs,
Frida.

p.s: We are just back to Singapore. Deandra (Davina’s new name) is so happy to see her Pink tree again, it’s been waiting here since Oct!
