Glasses
We're sorry it's been a while since our last update, but with Kelly back to work things are a bit busier for us.  Yesterday, Jackson had some appointments, including some blood work and a visit to an eye doctor because we've noticed one of his eyes turning in from time to time.  Those of you who know Kelly won't be surprised to find out that Jack needs glasses.  It appears he is far sighted like his Daddy and his left eye is a bit lazy. The Doctor thinks that if he will wear his glasses the laziness may correct itself.  Our big challenge will be to get him to actually wear the glasses.  We picked out a pair for him and I have to say they might just be the ugliest pair I have ever seen.  They are rubber so they look pretty comfortable and are unbreakable.  We figured since he was only three we would go for function over fashion.  Hopefully some day we will all have a good laugh at how funny he looked in his blue rubber glasses.  He won't have them for another week or two so we can't put a picture up yet.

Jackson is still slowly recovering from the rigors of treatment and he has his ups and downs.  His balance is off, his speech is picking up and he still seems tired but overall he is enjoying himself.  We did some blood work yesterday to see if his counts were down because he often seems tired, but we don't have those results yet.  Today, he has a dentist appointment and then Jackson will be going back to UCSF next week for chemo, antibiotics, and of course, his MRI.  The MRI is on Tuesday morning, so please say a big prayer for Jackson.  And thanks again for checking in on us!

Hi Jobes!
We will be thinking of you as Jackson heads for his MRI on Tuesday.  I can’t wait to see a picture of the glasses—I already have a mental picture of them!  (I’m sure he’ll look cute—he’d look cute in anything!)
Take care.

Hi guys, it is great to hear that you’re somewhat getting back some normalcy in your lives as far as being at home and Kelly back to work.  I miss you all and Keri, you and I both know that Jackson will still be so adorable with his glasses.  You can go for fashion in few years or so smile Good luck this coming week with everything.  I feel it in my heart that things will be all good.  Take care of yourselves and keep having fun Jackson.
Love Trish
