Jackson is still, of course, extremely tired from his treatments, and still spends a lot of time in bed or on the couch. But at least he's at home! And compared to two weeks ago, he's got a bit more energy and he's even speaking here and there. Here's a picture of Jack hamming it up on the couch. You can see that his hair is starting to grow back in the areas that were not radiated, but not in those that were. It's a unique hairstyle. In fact, with all that new hair on top, and none on the bottom, it's the exact opposite of some members of the family.
Tomorrow Jackson has to have another blood test to see what the chemo has been up to, but this time there's no central line to draw from, so it'll have to be done the old fashioned way--with a needle. A little blood draw now and then never really hurt anyone, but all of these months of painful treatments have definitely taken their toll on the little man, and frankly, for him it will be a big deal. Thanks to everyone who checks in on him. Please join me in wishing Jackson good luck tomorrow.

Hi Jackson! Good luck with the blood test tomorrow. Like you, I am not a big fan of the blood draw. Kate and I like your new hairstyle. I think with a little more, you could get a nice fauxhawk going. Say hi to your Mom, Dad and brother from all of us. We think of you often.
Good luck tomorrow FlapJack! I love the hairdo. Very handsome. Go Team Jackson!!! Hugs to you and the Wy-Man!
Good luck today Jackson!!! Hopefully the poke isn’t too bad. My boys had to get poked by the awful needle a few weeks ago. I think it is just bad for everyone because even though I didn’t get poked it still hurt me as there mommy. So be brave for mommy & daddy and know they definitely feel your pain!!
As for the hair Jackson, you look cute with hair and cute without hair. And now with this this in between stage....still cute!! Tell Wyatt hello and keep him in line, because I know those little brothers can be a bit bossy!!!
Patricia, Juan, Tommy & Nicky
Good luck today! Glad to hear you have a bit more energy. We’re always thinking about you. Love the picture and the ‘do!
Good luck Milkman, Auntie Poe Poe has to look the other way and lie on a cot to have my blood drawn.
I love the hair!!!!! and of course I love you.
Say hi to your family.

Thinking of you, Jack! I hate needles too! Great new picture! Your daddy has had a few unique hairstyles himself, so it runs in the family- it looks great on you though, cutie!
Love, Sam
Hope the blood draw went well. What a tough kid!!! I do like the hair. I figure he’ll have more than me in about...never mind, he already does.
Jackson your new hairdo is awesome. We miss you so much and are thanking of you all the time.
Hey, Jackson—you are looking STRONG and we know how strong you are because we all hate needles too! Keep up the good work, kiddo. It’s pretty cool having such a cool little brother to keep you on your toes, isn’t it? We are thinking of you and your family and you are always in our prayers.
Just checking in, hope the lab work turned out great, I know exactly how those needles go, I see kids all the time getting their labs done and it’s pretty scary but hang in there big guy, you’re a fighter. The bravest one I know. We love you and are praying every day. Hope you are feeling better by the time you read this. Love, Missy
Hey Jackson, glad you are back home! Thinking of you. See you soon.
Hope it all went smoothly, Jackman. Picture looks great. Keep up the good work!!
