Big Trees, Little Guy

Jackson has had another week’s worth of daily radiation treatments.  He is still doing better than with the chemotherapy, but it’s starting to make him tired, and sometimes, a little irritable.  I don’t know whether the fatigue is caused by the radiation, the anesthesia, or both.

We spent Thanksgiving here in San Francisco.  Jack had treatments the day before and the day after in the early morning.  On Saturday, we took a day trip to the Muir Woods about 12 miles north of SF.  It was nice because they had paved trails that we could take the strollers on.

Keri and I have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.  The biggest among them is Jackson just being here with Wyatt and us.  We are also very thankful for all of the donated leave time that folks have donated to us so that we can continue Jackson’s treatment.  It is because of all of you that we can continue to help Jackson through this fight.  Thank you.

What a beautiful picture!  I am so happy you got to get outside and see some of the beautiful things that surround.  Hopefully you and Wyatt took advantage of all of the yummy things that Thanksgiving had to offer you both.

Keep up the fight Jackson.  Our prayers and thoughts are always with you!!

It looks like you had fun in the woods!  I love the Santa hat.  I hope everything goes well with radiation this week.  I know it made my son, Isaac, tired too (he had a lot of other things going on though).  Have a good week and keep fighting!

We’re so glad you got to enjoy some family time outside, and we absolutely love the picture!

We’re thankful for so much this year, and especially for your fearless strength, and the way you’ve taught so many of us a very special lesson about what the important things in life really are. Between our worries with Ryan’s birth and all you’ve had to endure, we’ve been overwhelmed by the love of family, friends, even complete strangers, and of course God himself.  I am just an aunt, but hundreds of people have asked me about you and offered their prayers.  I bet if we each put our lists together, there are thousands of people with you in their hearts!!

We love you and are always thinking of you!

Hello family....you are so right, there is so much to be thankful for. Doctors and nurses who work so hard to heal, friends who donate leave time, Grandmas and Grandpas who do whatever is needed to help, family and friends who are praying daily, Wyatt who keeps Jackson laughing or fighting, and you, Keri and Kelly who are fighting along side of Jackson and
keeping us all informed....you are amazing and we love you. Last but certainly not least, thank the Lord for all His blessings....
especially Jackson.
