We have been so busy dealing with doctors, treatment plans, and our insurance company, that we simply have not had the time or energy to create a meaningful post on the website.  So here's a quick update:  At this point, we have exhausted all realistic non-radiation treatments. His MRI last Thursday showed stable disease, meaning from what they can tell the tumor hasn't grown or shrunk since the previous MRI.  It's what we were hoping for as we head into the radiation portion of Jackson's treatment.   Earlier on in the treatment we were always hoping for the tumor to be shrunk or gone at the MRI, but we knew it was unlikely to be gone this time.  We were hoping for it to rmain stable or smaller because having the tumor localized and relatively small (post-surgery) opens up options for more elegant radiation techniques that can try to avoid as much long-term damage to critical areas of his brain as possible, especially when compared to other forms of delivering the radiation.  At any rate, we're still working on these things and will post a better update on how everyone is doing when we can.
