Laying Low
For the past few days, Jackson has been laying as low as his blood counts. Since he's neutropenic again, and we don't want to risk any unnecessary infections, Jack has spent the last three days inside the apartment. Next week, Jack will go under anesthesia again for another hearing test and have more outpatient chemo and other blood tests. He'll also go to physical and speech therapy (we call it "school.")
Wyatt got his first haircut recently and he looks like a new man and he also got a new big boy car seat--both of wihich should help him out with the nurses.

Well look at that nice haircut WyWy- those nurses are going to be all over you and judging by that smile, you know it! Jack, hang in there, SF weather is too cold anyway, way more cozy inside in your comfy bed and resting up before you busy week. Love you all!
Oh my goodness.....what a handsome devil you are Wyatt!! With the new “ride” and the great cut those nurses don’t stand a chance!!!
Jackson...let’s see...we need some happier blood counts and we need them to rise soon right??? Well that means you must tell Mommy & Daddy to buy all the fixings for a super-duper banana split/sundae combo!! And I mean not just fugde and ice cream...we are talking rainbow sprinkles, broken up oreo cookies, carmel, whipped cream, nuts, reese’s peanut butter crumbs, pineapple.....well you get the picture. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention we need a serving size bowl, the kind you use for parties, not just a regular-sized one. Then they have to let you & Wyatt create whatever masterpiece you can with it and just go to town!!! That should get those blood cells jumping with joy (aka sugar!!).
Get losts of rest and know we are thinking of you and praying for you!!! Have fun with the cyber sundae (just in case mom & dad said no).
Hey Guys! Wyatt looks so cute with his new ‘do and big boy carseat. Watch out ladies, the “Wild man” is on the loose! I bet when Jack gets back up to par, he’ll be giving Wyatt a run for his money on the flirt scale. Hang in there....those blood counts will come up soon and you’ll be able to see the water splash Dad’s feet again! See you guys in a couple of days!
