Today Jackson had some more outpatient chemotherapy.  He also had an echocardiogram as part of a battery of upcoming tests in the next two weeks preparing for the high-dose chemotherapy/stem-cell rescue portion of his treatement.  Although the tumor is still there, and although we are beginning to understand that this will be a long, long, process, Jackson is doing pretty well!  Yesterday he took his brother, his parents, and his grandma to the beach for a short time.  As I held him, I took him out into the water just so far as where the water would come up and get my feet wet.  He laughed and laughed and laughed watching the waves get "daddy(s) peet." (But only up to my ankles -- it's cold here).  He was unwilling to let me put him down to put his own feet in the cold SF water, proving again that he is not only better looking, but smarter than me as well!  Keri took some good pictures of Jack and his brother, too.  Here's one.
