Hi Jackson! I have heard all about you from your Aunt Melissa. She told me what a wonderful boy you are, but she didn’t tell me that you like Curious George! I am a pretty old person, but I loved Curious George even when I was a girl. My last name is, believe it or not, just “Re”. I used to pretend that the man who wrote the books was a relative! Pretty silly, huh? You take care of yourself and keep George out of trouble!
I wanted to let you both know I have Jackson in a Healing Lab, done by people within the circle of Sylvia Browne. Have you heard of her? She is this renowned ‘psychic’ who appears quite frequently on the Montel Williams show. Regardless of her so-called ‘psychic’ abilities, she does wonderful things with her Healing Lab. How I knew about it was through someone who took one of her courses and has become a certified hypno therapist through Browne.
Anyway, this person’s success rate in ‘healing’ people is phenomenal. She performed a Healing Lab on a gentleman who was diagnosed terminal with I believe cancer and given only weeks to live. She got everyone in the Healing Lab circle to perform it everyday until they were asked to stop. This was 4 years ago, and the man is alive and well in complete remission – the doctors can not explain how it was possible and it has become a case-study at Stanford. (I believe it’s Stanford). Anyway, I asked this person to place Jackson in the Healing Lab a couple of weeks ago - she indicated everyone has been performing the Healing Lab for Jackson numerous times a day, at the same time...even I am participating. We will continue to do so until we are told to stop.
This is something like the power of prayer, get many people praying the same thing at the same time…and miracles happen.

Just reviewed the latest entry from July 8, very studly. What great parents the two of you are and how cool is it that you brought such a tough little ninja into the world. I only wish I was as strong as Jackson. Just thinking of movies the boy might like, since he’s a fan of curious George, that should be out soon on dvd-The Forbidden Kingdom, starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Jet Li plays the Monkey King and Jackson might like some of his moves...though Kelly might get scared of the bad guy.

It is about 113 here in the desert, the cool SF breezes must be nice. I am glad you all are in SF, some place familar. Jade is starting to walk to0, but has not got it totally down yet.

Hi Keri and Kelly (and Jackson and Wyatt)—Don’t know if you recall, but we talked on the phone—I live near you, and my son is a medulloblastoma survivor. Keri, I met your Mom last night at my friend’s house. It was a gathering of people who walk dogs at Ashton Park, and Doris brought pix of Jackson for me to see. What a major cutie pie! I really enjoyed meeting your Mom, and it was so evident that she and Jackson’s other grandparents are so very loving. I have some things for you that I will give to Doris to bring. If they help, hooray, and if not, you can pass them along. I tried to remember every thing I tried to get Sawyer to eat when I was petrified about his weight loss. I guess I just want you to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel: Sawyer is doing better than I ever, ever thought possible when we were where you are now. He is robust and happy, he has friends, he does well in school, and I am actually able to let him be independent because the terror does subside. If there is anything I can do for you, please never hesitate to ask. I consider all childhood cancer patients extended family, and someday, you, too, will want to help the next family.

Just got back from vacation and was catching up. It’s great the tumor hasn’t grown, but I know you’ve all still been through so much! Hi! I saw a comment you made on the Yahoo PBT group. My son, Isaac, also has seen/sees Dr. Banerjee. He was treated at UCSF in 2006 and now we are facing possible recurrance so we just went up there and Saw Dr. Banerjee again. We go back after our scans in Jan. (Isaac has a JPA brain tumor).
ANYWAY, this site is so cute! Jackson and Wyatt are handsome little boys. My friend’s son also acted that way to his car seat - but she didn’t have to deal with tubies! My oldest figured out how to push the button and unbuckle herself when she was about 4. I hope Jackson doesn’t figure that one out! Aren’t kids a blast?!?! Tommy just had one and it was clear, and before we had even stopped celebrating there was already a notice about the NEXT scan that will be in March. I just found out about Jackson from Frida - Davina’s mom.
My son Pete was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma in October of 2005 at the age of 22 months. He completed treatment in October of 2006 and is doing great! He just turned 5 and received his 11th no evidence of disease report in December.
I just though I would sign your guestbook to let you know that we will add your family to our prayers.
I just realized it has been a long time since I have signed the guestbook and not the journal! I would LOVE to be the first person to wish Jack good luck tomorrow having his blood work done. The new picture of the little man is the best. I am wishing JJ an easy and stress free trip to Sutter tomorrow.

Hello Jobe Family! I’m so glad to hear that you had a nice Thanksgiving. We spent our holiday at the Family House, but at least we were able to go home over the weekend and have a Thanksgiving do-over on Saturday Tomorrow is Sophia’s last radiation treatment and we are looking forward to being home for a few weeks. It’s a tough deal going through with these therapies without knowing whether they will work or not. I was a recipient of growth hormones many years ago when they really didn’t know much about the long term effects. I must say though, that over a period of a year, I grew from 4’9” entering high school, to 5’4”. So, I do know that they have been effective in some cases over time. So, I feel your anguish over this issue, and I hope your doctors can help you in your decision on this important consideration. Love and prayers to you all. Lois Sternberg

I also asked a friend of mine to add your family in her prayer group. She wrote me back an e-mail saying that had an “emergency” meeting and all prayed for your family and the mighty healing that is in store for Jackson!! She said they held their hands over Kelly’s most recent letter as they talked to God on behalf of your family. This dear friend of mine, who I would not describe as “religious” was telling me how very powerful the presence of God was felt there on your behalf!! I believe it!!

Hi Jackson! I have heard all about you from your Aunt Melissa. She told me what a wonderful boy you are, but she didn’t tell me that you like Curious George! I am a pretty old person, but I loved Curious George even when I was a girl. My last name is, believe it or not, just “Re”. I used to pretend that the man who wrote the books was a relative! Pretty silly, huh? You take care of yourself and keep George out of trouble!

I wanted to let you both know I have Jackson in a Healing Lab, done by people within the circle of Sylvia Browne. Have you heard of her? She is this renowned ‘psychic’ who appears quite frequently on the Montel Williams show. Regardless of her so-called ‘psychic’ abilities, she does wonderful things with her Healing Lab. How I knew about it was through someone who took one of her courses and has become a certified hypno therapist through Browne.
Anyway, this person’s success rate in ‘healing’ people is phenomenal. She performed a Healing Lab on a gentleman who was diagnosed terminal with I believe cancer and given only weeks to live. She got everyone in the Healing Lab circle to perform it everyday until they were asked to stop. This was 4 years ago, and the man is alive and well in complete remission – the doctors can not explain how it was possible and it has become a case-study at Stanford. (I believe it’s Stanford). Anyway, I asked this person to place Jackson in the Healing Lab a couple of weeks ago - she indicated everyone has been performing the Healing Lab for Jackson numerous times a day, at the same time...even I am participating. We will continue to do so until we are told to stop.
This is something like the power of prayer, get many people praying the same thing at the same time…and miracles happen.
I wish all of you the best, and know Jackson is in all of our thoughts. Go Team Jackson!

Just reviewed the latest entry from July 8, very studly. What great parents the two of you are and how cool is it that you brought such a tough little ninja into the world. I only wish I was as strong as Jackson. Just thinking of movies the boy might like, since he’s a fan of curious George, that should be out soon on dvd-The Forbidden Kingdom, starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Jet Li plays the Monkey King and Jackson might like some of his moves...though Kelly might get scared of the bad guy.

PS: I’d be happy to ride the mower if Kane pushes. I would probably even wear a monkey suit if it would make Jackson laugh.

We have another patient in the same circumstances as you, and her name is Alyssa Francis and she will be at the same hospital as you, on the 23 of July for another procedure as well. She was diagnosed with her brain cancer when she was 6 yr old and she turned 10 in January of this year, This is to let you know they do great work there..

Glad you got to take the kids to the park. You must all of a sudden really appreciate very simple things, that is a reminder for all of us. It is about 113 here in the desert, the cool SF breezes must be nice. I am glad you all are in SF, some place familar. Jade is starting to walk to0, but has not got it totally down yet.
We will keep you in our prayers regarding the anemia. We have to boost Ethans calories as well so I recommend frying everything. We often have French Fries for breakfast.

Hi Keri and Kelly (and Jackson and Wyatt)—Don’t know if you recall, but we talked on the phone—I live near you, and my son is a medulloblastoma survivor. Keri, I met your Mom last night at my friend’s house. It was a gathering of people who walk dogs at Ashton Park, and Doris brought pix of Jackson for me to see. What a major cutie pie! I really enjoyed meeting your Mom, and it was so evident that she and Jackson’s other grandparents are so very loving. I have some things for you that I will give to Doris to bring. If they help, hooray, and if not, you can pass them along. I tried to remember every thing I tried to get Sawyer to eat when I was petrified about his weight loss. I guess I just want you to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel: Sawyer is doing better than I ever, ever thought possible when we were where you are now. He is robust and happy, he has friends, he does well in school, and I am actually able to let him be independent because the terror does subside. If there is anything I can do for you, please never hesitate to ask. I consider all childhood cancer patients extended family, and someday, you, too, will want to help the next family.

Hi! I saw a comment you made on the Yahoo PBT group. My son, Isaac, also has seen/sees Dr. Banerjee. He was treated at UCSF in 2006 and now we are facing possible recurrance so we just went up there and Saw Dr. Banerjee again. We go back after our scans in Jan. (Isaac has a JPA brain tumor).
ANYWAY, this site is so cute! Jackson and Wyatt are handsome little boys. My friend’s son also acted that way to his car seat - but she didn’t have to deal with tubies! My oldest figured out how to push the button and unbuckle herself when she was about 4. I hope Jackson doesn’t figure that one out! Aren’t kids a blast?!?! Well, have a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful weekend!

Tommy just had one and it was clear, and before we had even stopped celebrating there was already a notice about the NEXT scan that will be in March. I just found out about Jackson from Frida - Davina’s mom.
My son Pete was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma in October of 2005 at the age of 22 months. He completed treatment in October of 2006 and is doing great! He just turned 5 and received his 11th no evidence of disease report in December.
I just though I would sign your guestbook to let you know that we will add your family to our prayers.

We’re all hoping for great news on the restrictions. If he’s allowed to be with other kids more, maybe we can have a “Play Date” with our grandson on the days he’s over at some point! Just know we’re all still thinking about you!

Mom might ask your teacher and speech therapist for software ideas. So many fun music CD’s too which you can listen to in the car so you don’t have to listen to mom and dad’s boring stuff. Hello Jobe Family! I’m so glad to hear that you had a nice Thanksgiving. We spent our holiday at the Family House, but at least we were able to go home over the weekend and have a Thanksgiving do-over on Saturday
Tomorrow is Sophia’s last radiation treatment and we are looking forward to being home for a few weeks. We’ll be checking on Jackson as he continues on this long journey to health and happiness. Sophia and I will be praying for you as you meet with the doctors tomorrow. Trust me when I say that I know how terrifying it is to have these scans. Sophia will have her first MRI since just after her surgery at the end of December. My stomach is already turning just thinking about it. It’s a tough deal going through with these therapies without knowing whether they will work or not. I was a recipient of growth hormones many years ago when they really didn’t know much about the long term effects. I must say though, that over a period of a year, I grew from 4’9” entering high school, to 5’4”. So, I do know that they have been effective in some cases over time. So, I feel your anguish over this issue, and I hope your doctors can help you in your decision on this important consideration. Love and prayers to you all. Lois Sternberg
